The Caledonian Hotel has been a distinguished landmark on the Edinburgh skyline standing, as it does, in the shadow of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle. Originally built in 1903 in the era of great railway hotels, this traditionally built building was part of the old Caledonian Railway Station. Located at the west end of Princes Street and with stunning views to Edinburgh Castle (majestic when lit at night!) and Princes Street, one of Europe's most famous shopping streets this is the perfect spot in which to enjoy Afternoon Tea after a morning's business, shopping or touring this beautiful city.

Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the delightfully elegant first floor Pompadour Restaurant which overlooks Princes Street and Lothian Road. This elegant room with its pale yellow walls, wall panels with oriental scenes and wall lights, beautiful cornicing and carved ceiling pillars is splendid.

Afternoon Tea at The Caledonian is a terrific experience with excellent, friendly and eager to please staff and is a treat for all the family and with the ever increasing popularity of Children's Afternoon Teas, Executive Chef, Kenny Coltman has specially designed a Children's Afternoon Tea Menu that ensures an Afternoon Tea is available to suit all tastes and ages!
