Great Fosters

Great Fosters

Great Fosters is a most beautiful Grade 1 listed building set amongst 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland in Egham, Surrey. Immaculately preserved, this stately historic house boasts an enviable location close to Heathrow, the M25 and M4 and near Windsor, Wentworth, Staines and Virginia Water. Built as a royal hunting lodge in 1550, Great Fosters still possesses a plethora of original details and features including mullioned windows, Jacobean fireplaces, a rare oakwell staircase, authentic tapestries and moulded ceilings.

Afternoon Tea at Great Fosters can be served in the Cocktail Bar, Main Hall and in The Anne Boleyn Drawing Room, a beautifully decorated room, which in winter boasts a wonderfully comforting fire. During the warmer months, Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed on the terraces which enjoy unparalleled views of the magnificent gardens.

The staff at Great Fosters are delightfully helpful and very proud of the history and ambience of their hotel and are keen to recommend that visitors enjoy a stroll around the house and wonderful gardens.

Children are welcomed.
