Miss B's Tea Rooms - NEW MEMBER

Why not escape the hustle and bustle of the picturesque market town of Melton Mowbray, famous for its pork pies and stilton cheese and visit Louise Bushell and her team at Miss B's Tea Rooms, where a warm welcome awaits you at their charming 'Olde Worlde' Tea Rooms.

This is a well run family business which opened in 2009 and Louise Bushell's family of partner, parents, children and even grand children can regularly be seen helping out - usually with the washing up whilst Louise herself bakes all the cakes, scones, quiches and soups offered! Louise takes immense pride in providing her customers with a relaxing and memorable Tea room experience, excellent food and teas and customer service which is second to none and her menu includes a wide selection of tasty sandwiches, light lunches, Cream Teas and delicious homemade cakes, including Gluten Free cakes and scones and, of course, a terrific selection of top quality and carefully chosen teas which are all fully described on the menu!

Included among a range of treats are;

The Classic Cream Tea:

Fresh home baked scones served with butter and strawberry jam or clotted cream and strawberry jam. Gluten free scones are available.

Miss B's Cottage Tea:

Two Hot Crumpets served with butter, jam and a choice of tea

Miss B's Victorian Afternoon Tea:

Offers guests a delicate and beautifully presented selection of sandwiches including; egg & cress; tuna mayonnaise; cucumber & cream cheese and Smoked salmon & cream cheese followed with a freshly baked scone with butter & jam or clotted cream & jam; a slice of delicious Victoria Sponge and served with a pot of loose leaf tea.

The Teas:

Miss B's excellent selection of over 20 different blends includes; Everyday Tea; Black Tea scented with Lychee; Black Tea scented with Rose; Earl Grey; Green Tea with Osmanthus Flowers; Organic Oolong "Blue" Tea; Darjeeling; Aromatic Chai Tea; Roof of the World Tea from Nepal; Organic Green Tea; Jasmine Pearls Tea; Silver Needle White Tea; Vietnamese Vanilla Tea and Gunpowder Supreme Tea.

Customers can buy teas, cakes by the slice and boxed cup cakes to take home and whole or half cakes can be made to order by chatting to Louise. What a treat!

 Miss B’s Pork Pie Tea - A tasty blend of Indian Black Tea, Ginger, Cardamom, Red Peppercorns & Sage, the perfect accompaniment to the spicy, slightly peppery Melton Mowbray Pork Pie!

Miss B’s Stilton Tea -  A fruity blend of Hibiscus, Rosehip, Orange Peel, Apple Pieces, & Lemon Verbena, compliments creamy Long Clawson Dairy Stilton.

Miss B’s Champagne Tea -  A delicate blend of Sri Lankan Black Tea & Indian Darjeeling Black Tea -  this subtle flavour and gentle aroma is a wonderful accompaniment to Afternoon Tea.

Miss B’s Painting the Town Red Tea - A tantalizing blend of Sri Lankan, Indian & Chinese black teas mixed with Lemongrass, Hops & Caramel pieces provide a taste experience reminiscent of Ale Houses from the time when the Marquis of Waterford and friends went on a drunken spree and painted many buildings in Melton red!

 Miss B’s Hunting Hedgerow Tea - A superb floral blend indicative of the hedgerows & beautiful countryside surrounding Melton Mowbray containing Chamomile, Lemongrass, Rose Petals & Cornflowers.
