Roses Tea Rooms at Ness Botanic Gardens

Roses Tea Rooms at Ness Botanic Gardens

Ness Botanic Gardens was born of one man's passionate interest in plants and his desire to share that interest with others.

When the Liverpool cotton merchant Arthur Kilpin Bulley began to create a garden in 1898, part of which he opened to local residents, he laid the foundations of one of the major botanic gardens in the United Kingdom.

Roses Tea Rooms are situated within the visitor centre at  Ness Botanic Gardens.

Andreas and Michelle Constantinou, the  tearoom owners, have taken the concept of the traditional tea room and given it a modern twist. Although offering an extensive food menu which includes many Greek specialities, Michelle is immensely proud of her traditional afternoon teas which are already famous locally and which include a wide selection of top quality teas, sandwiches, homemade scones, jams and an excellent range of cakes, tortes and delicious pastries.

Michelle and Andreas are proud to support small producers and businesses, both locally and nationally, in providing their customers with specially sourced healthy, nutritious, innovative and delicious teas and foods!

What a wonderful day out - a tour around the superb gardens, a look around the terrific shop and then indulge in a marvellous afternoon tea!  Why not visit with your "little" ones AND your "bigger" ones and the whole family can enjoy this terrific treat and there is a menu to suit everyone!
