TEA GUILD MEMBER

Bettys at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr

Bettys at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr

Bettys is a Yorkshire institution, a third generation business which had just five outlets until the first new Bettys Café Tea Rooms for more than thirty years opened at the Royal Horticultural Society's 58-acre Harlow Carr Gardens.

The existing builiding has been transformed with Lloyd Loom chairs, granite topped tables, palm trees and a terrace overlooking the garden for fine weather. There is also a tea house in the middle of the gardens, plus a Bettys shop and delicatessen.

The company buys and blends its own (Taylors) teas from all over the world, and a set traditional or cream tea is available. A pianist plays on Sunday 10am-1pm.
