Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms - Ilkley

Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms - Ilkley

One of the six famous Bettys, Ilkley has an extensive tea and coffee counter stacked with antique tea caddies. Other notable features are the specially commissioned stained-glass windows, depicting wild flowers from Ilkley Moor, and the large teapot collection.

The tea room is a favourite with ramblers, tired, hungry and thirsty from a tramp across the moors. The guiding principle of Bettys' founder, Frederick Belmont, was that 'if we want things just right we have to make them ourselves', and Bettys Bakery still makes all the cakes, pastries, chocolates, breads and scones served in the tea rooms and the delicious teas, brewed and served to perfection are from Taylors of Harrogate.

Children welcome; guide dogs only.
