Food for Thought is located on picturesque Westerham Green in the beautiful country village of Westerham, Kent, just a few yards from the statue of Sir Winston Churchill and is surrounded by historically significant attractions such as Chartwell (Winston Churchill’s home) and Hever Castle.
Food for Thought combines the very best qualities of a traditional quaint English village tea room and brasserie restaurant and the highly regarded Chef Owner, Mark Edwards has many years in the catering industry and uses his vast experience and expertise in offering delicious home made food combined with cheerful, attentive and friendly service.
All food is freshly made to order, including all cakes, scones and pastries using locally sourced products where possible.
Mark has put much thought into the quality and variety of teas he offers his visitors and these include; Earl Grey; Classic Green; Oolong; Lapsang Souchong; Classic Black; Darjeeling; Pai Mu Tan; Jasmine Dragon Pearls as well as a selection of infusions.

Afternoon tea for two:
A pot of loose leaf tea
served with smoked salmon sandwiches, homemade scones with soft set jam and Cornish clotted cream. Served with a choice of cakes (for two people)
High Tea:
A pot of loose leaf tea
served with choice of sandwich, homemade scone, served with soft set jam & Cornish clotted cream
Cream Tea:
A pot of loose leaf tea
served with 2 homemade scones, soft set jam & Cornish clotted cream
Selection of Homemade Cakes:
Victoria sandwich, Fresh lemon cake, Ginger & lemon cake Chocolate cake, Passion cake, Coffee & walnut cake; Dundee cake (gluten free)
