At this recently refurbished five star hotel, tea is served in the stylish Terrace Restaurant, a peaceful haven in the heart of the noise and bustle of London's shopping centre. The hotel enjoys a wonderful location in Piccadilly, close to the Royal Academy and convenient for Regent Street and London's theatres.

Tea here can involve a selection of carefully chosen and top quality traditional and speciality teas including Assam, Earl Grey, Organic Bohea Lapsang, Yellow Gold Oolong, Darjeeling Second Flush, Kenyan Orthodox, Jasmine Pearls Green Tea, Organic Silver Needle and Jasmine Silver Needle White Teas, and Flowering Jasmine Arch, Flowering Osmanthus and Flowering Red Amaranth Teas.

AFTERNOON TEA MENUS:

THE TERRACE CREAM TEA:-  Enjoy warm scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream served with your choice of tea from the excellent tea menu

THE TERRACE LIGHT AFTERNOON TEA:  For those with a smaller appetite enjoy warm scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream and a selection of French pastries accompanied with your choice of tea from the excellent tea menu.

THE TERRACE AFTERNOON TEA:  -This delicious full English Afternoon Tea offers a a selection of finger sandwiches, including cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and Scottish smoked salmon followed with warm home made scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream and a selection of French pastries. Your choice of tea from the excellent and carefully chosen tea menu accompanies this afternoon tea.

LE MERIDIEN CHAMPAGNE AFTERNOON TEA:-  This delicious full English Afternoon Tea offers a glass of Mumm Champagne, a selection of finger sandwiches, including cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and Scottish smoked salmon followed with warm home made scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream and a selection of French pastries. Your choice of tea from the excellent and carefully chosen tea menu accompanies this afternoon tea.

All teas can, of course, be enhanced with a glass of champagne!

Afternoon Tea is served every day, Monday - Sunday,  from 12.00 noon to 6.00pm.
