St Andrews Tea - St Andrews Tea garden lies in the enchanting Dickoya district of Ceylon’s world famous Dimbula region. Founded by Scottish settlers, the estate continues to produce tea in the orthodox process. This is a light tea with a slight malty note that produces a bright golden cup, making it an ideal afternoon drink.
Ceylon Exotics- Unusual and Exciting
Ceylon Rose Tea - similar to a rose flower, a mild and sweet tasting tea ideally drunk on a summer evening.

In 1852 a young Scot named James Taylor from Laurencekirk, Kincardinshire arrived in Ceylon, Sri Lanka settling on the Loolecondera Estate near Kandy; it was here that James introduced the first tea plant in Ceylon in 1867.
Today the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is proud to present a fine range of teas from P.M.David Silva & Sons who have worked with plantations in Ceylon for over 60 years. Our teas not only create an exhilarating sensual experience, they tell the tale of a Scottish legend.
