The Goring

The Goring

Opened in 1910 in a quiet street just around the corner from bustling Victoria Station, The legendary Goring is much loved by its many guests who, whilst in London, treat the hotel as their "home away from home" and also by Londoners who love the ambience of a calm, relaxed country house hotel in which they can discuss business or meet with their friends.

The comfortable lounge is reminiscent of a private drawing room with its soft, inviting leather armchairs and plush carpets and beyond, a light, airy terrace provides more seating. In warm weather, the open-air Terrace has a wonderful view of the private garden - the largest of its kind in London - with its clipped hedges and colourful flower beds.

Guests may take Afternoon Tea in any of these three elegant locations where they will be served an excellent selection of traditional sandwiches, scones and pastries.

Take a look at and be enticed by their delectable AFTERNOON TEA MENU:

Eggs Savoury is followed by a selection of tasty finger sandwiches and freshly baked warm scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and jam. Delicious pastries will then be presented and the famous Goring "Not quite a Trifle" offered!

A wonderful range of well described teas, perfectly brewed and served beautifully will accompany this Afternoon Tea.

    CHAMPAGNE AFTERNOON TEA:

The Goring Champagne Tea is as above and includes strawberries and cream and a glass of the house champagne, Bollinger.
