The Quarterdeck at the Nare Hotel

The Quarterdeck at the Nare Hotel

The sub-tropical climate of southern Cornwall means that visitors to the Nare Hotel can often sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine while taking afternoon tea, or they can enjoy the cooler interior of the Quarterdeck.

Menus include local ingredients as far as possible and offer treats such as local oak smoked salmon, Cornish beef, Portloe crab and lobster and English grown tea from nearby Tregothnan.

The hotel stands in extensive grounds above Carne Beach and so, to work up an appetite for tea, why not take advantage of the neighbouring National Trust land and walk the coastal path that enjoys fine views of Gerrans Bay and Nare Head.
