TEA GUILD MEMBER

The Tea Shop

The Tea Shop

Fresh local produce takes pride of place on the menu at this bright and cosy tea shop, and everything served here is home-made. This proud boast comes from owner Nicky Ryland, whose support of the town is amply repaid by the regular customers attracted by her delicious food.

A selection of forty teas makes her a winner with visitors to the area too, with around thirty cakes including boiled fruit cake, strawberry pavlova, and apple and almond cake always available. Ice creams are another favourite, and there are always light lunches such as jacket potatoes and salads for those whose intentions are less frivolous.

A highchair is available, and there is wheelchair access.
