The Lanesborough

The Lanesborough

The Lanesborough restaurant, now known as "Apsleys" recently re opened after being totally refurbished by world famous design company "Tihany". This famous interior with its glass conservatory roof and new, strikingly bold, contemporary design offers guests one of London's most atmospheric, stylish yet comfortable and famously welcoming venues for a classic English afternoon tea event.

While a pianist plays in the background and seated on supremely comfortable chairs and sofas, guests can enjoy The Lanesborough Afternoon Tea which includes a generous selection of delicate sandwiches, followed by home-made pastries and cakes, and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and home-made strawberry jam. Don't forget to sample The Lanesborough's "signature teatime treat" of truly delicious home made lemon curd!

For a real occasion or just to be deliciously self indulgent enjoy the 'Belgravia afternoon Tea' which offers a full afternoon tea selection as above but includes a glass of champagne or Kir Royale and fresh strawberries and cream.

Apsleys can now offer their guests a Gluten and Dairy Free Afternoon Tea Menu.

Guests enjoying these award winning afternoon teas will meet The Lanesborough's celebrated tea sommelier , Karl Kessab, who is delighted to advise on their personal tea preferences and discuss the numerous varieties of specially selected teas on offer.

Whatever the occasion, be it a social, business, family, formal or informal afternoon tea, afternoon tea at The Lanesborough is a "must do." Please note that within the newly re-designed restaurant there now are private dining areas available and that afternoon tea may also be enjoyed in the classically beautiful Drawing Room.
