TEA GUILD MEMBER

"Tea" at Liberty

This delightful little tea room is situated  (tucked away behind the fashion accessories area on the ground floor) in this grand, historic and beautiful department store ,whose main entrance is now in Great Marlborough Street. "Tea" is surely one of the most interesting, lovely and cosiest tea rooms in London !

Kasia and her team have created this oasis of peace and have combined an eclectic mix of styles with antique china, silver teapots and colourful murals.

A wide variety of teas both traditional and unusual are served in the most beautiful silver teapots and accompanied with finger sandwiches, warm crumbly scones and pretty cakes. NEWLY introduced and a hit with "Tea's" customers are wonderful rosewater and pistachio meringues to be enjoyed with China Rose Petal tea after savouring a scone or two with cream and Rose Petal jam.

"Tea" currently offer the "Liberty Traditional Afternoon Tea" (which consists of a pot of tea of your choice, delicious finger sandwiches, a slice of tea loaf, fruit or plain scones served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream and followed by delicious cream cakes) and the more petite "Liberty Cream Tea" with a pot of tea of your choice and fruit or plain scones with strawberry preserve and clotted cream.  Why not also treat yourself and indulge in a glass (or two) of pink English bubbles with your afternoon tea?

After some serious shopping or business visit “Tea”, put down your bags and relax in a comfy armchair and enjoy excellent tea served by some of the friendliest staff in London.
