Tucked away in the Hindwell Valley in north west Herefordshire, this destination tea room is a converted Victorian Cider Barn and was once a farm where cider was made from its own orchard and now offer their visitors a gallery of arts, crafts, well chosen gifts and greeting cards etc.

Mistletoe House combines country living with home cooked top quality food and a comprehensive and well written tea list. The family run Mistletoe House Tea Rooms consist of The Old Cider Barn, which is cheerfully decorated and furnished with a view to comfort with a black iron wood burning stove to warm you in cooler weather, comfortable sofas, newspapers and magazines sitting alongside wooden tables set with crisp white linen and flowers; The Garden room and an attractively planted Walled Garden for enjoying afternoon tea in warm weather.

Marion Cox offers her guests a wonderful selection of homemade cakes and a tea menu listing over 19 carefully chosen speciality teas and these teas plus coffees, cordials, beers, ciders and the wines which you enjoyed during your visit may be purchased.

Cream Tea:

Two freshly baked scones served with butter or clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea chosen from the Tea Menu.

Afternoon Tea:

Finely cut and freshly made sandwiches such as; Cheese & Chutney; Beef & Horseradish; Ham & Mustard and Egg Mayonnaise served on white or wholemeal bread; a deliciously light scone served with jam and cream or butter and a slice of cake of your choice (for example; Chocolate; Carrot Cake; Sticky Ginger Drizzle Cake; Coffee & Walnut Cake; Apricot & Coconut Sponge; Bara Brith; Gluten free Lemon Cake and Gluten free Chocolate Brownie) plus a pot of tea chosen from the excellent Tea Menu.

The Tea Menu:

Extremely well chosen and beautifully described and offering a comprehensive variety of of over 19 teas to suit all tastes and which include; English Breakfast Blend; Earl Grey; Assam; Darjeeling Full Leaf; Darjeeling & Assam Blend; Lapsang Souchong; A chopice of 4 Flavoured Congou Teas; Formosa Oolong Choice; Formosa Orange Blossom Oolong; Autumn Blend; Scented Afternoon Blend; Assam & Keeman; Spiced Chai; Pinhead Gunpowder; China Jasmine with Flower and Ceylon Full Leaf. Infusions are also available.
