Gillam's Tea Room

Gillam's Tea Room

The Gillam family has been trading tea and coffee since 1892 and Gillam's tea room opened in this quaint 18th century shop in July 2006. The period facade, the cosy log fire burning in the open hearth in cooler months and the soothing classical music create an old world charm that everyone will enjoy.

The menu is all organic and vegetarian; all the loose leaf teas and herbals are organic and the menu includes very good special dishes everyday including vegetarian pasta dishes, stuffed peppers, sandwiches filled with mushroom pate and cucumber, houmous or organic egg mayonnaise, and the excellent cakes are homemade.

The organic teas include specialities such as Darjeeling First Flush, oolong and green tea and while you enjoy a pot, browse through the magazines and newspapers available to customers or decide what to buy from the attractive range of retail products.

Opening Days & Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9am-5pm.

Sunday 10am-4pm.

Bank holidays closed.
