The Manor House Hotel

The quintessential English manor, with its mullioned windows, creeper covered walls and six acres of garden and parkland, The Manor House Hotel boasts links back to the Norman Conquest and to Shakespeare. Today, it has been modernised to a very high standard but still has many of the original features - rich wood panelling, Elizabethan open fireplaces and original beams and stonework. In the dining areas, gleaming silver, glittering crystal and fine porcelains add to the sense of style and make this a very special venue.

The Award winning Afternoon tea is served in several beautifully decorated Lounges, Drawing Room rooms in this tranquil house and outside on the Terrace in warm weather. The wonderful Afternoon Teas include an excellent selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones with delicious Wiltshire cream and jam, and a selection of cakes and pastries. These truly decadent and traditional feast are served daily from 3pm - 6pm

Before or after tea, enjoy the gardens, the village of Castle Combe and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Cream Tea & Cake

Freshly baked home made scones,  served with Cornish Clotted Cream, home made strawberry jam, two delicious cakes and a pot of delicious tea chosen from the excellent Tea Menu!

The Manor House Full Afternoon Tea

A delicious selection of delicious freshly made finger sandwiches, including Manor House free - range  Egg & Cress; Cucumber, Cream Cheese & Chive; Uig Lodge Smoked Salmon and Manor House Old Spot Ham & Grain Mustard. Follow with freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve and  a selection of wonderful cakes and your choice of tea from the excellent and extensive variety of quality teas perfectly brewed and served.

Champagne Afternoon Tea

As above but including a delicious glass of champagne!

THE TEA MENU

The well chosen Tea Menu Includes old and new favourites such as Organic English Breakfast; Assam Choice Estate; Darjeeling Choice Estate; Lapsang Souchong; Organic Earl Grey; Green Blossom; Ebony Flower; Silver Needle; and a Tregothnan Classic and Earl Grey Tea. There really is a tea here to suit all tastes!
