Searcy at The Pump Room

Searcy at The Pump Room

For over two centuries the great and the good have come to drink the waters in this striking neo-classical room. The hot spa water they came to find is still on sale here, and many swear by its healing properties.

But of more interest to Bath's modern visitors is the mouth-watering food served with impeccable style by Searcy's. High on the list of favourites come afternoon tea; a traditional platter of smoked salmon sandwiches, freshly baked scones with local strawberry preserve and clotted cream; also delicious home-made cakes and pastries and even a high tea of Cheddar and Stilton crostinis.

All this and live classical music from the Pump Room Trio make The Pump Room a "must to visit" when in Bath!
