The Angel Hotel was once a great coaching inn on the London to Fishguard road and is today a friendly, elegant, Georgian town house hotel.
Tea is served in the Restaurant, at tables beautifully set with crisp linen and fine bone china, and in the sitting-room. In fine weather, tea and afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the attractive sunlit courtyard.
Scones, cakes and pastries are baked daily, in house, by specialist baker, Sally Lane, and include chocolate brownies, delicious custard slices, lemon drizzle cake and profiteroles.
The Angel Hotel give great attention to their well described tea menu by selecting only the finest teas available. The House selection is a fine Assam and Sri Lankan blend and Speciality teas offered include Darjeeling Second Flush, Ceylon, Earl Grey Supreme, Silver Needle White Tea, Flowering Jasmine, Dragon Well Green Tea and Flowering Osmanthus to name only a few!
The Angel Hotel offers the following afternoon tea menus which prove very popular with the many families, groups of friends and, indeed, business colleagues - all of whom ensure that having tea frequently at The Angel is a "must."
