Once you have successfully applied and been assessed for Membership of The Tea Guild, you will be invited to become a Member and upon payment of our annual membership fee you will be entitled to:Drinking tea

  • Automatic entry into the next edition of "Afternoon Tea - Perfect places for afternoon tea",  The Tea Guild Guidebook
  • Occasional Issues of Guild News
  • Automatic entry into the Top Tea Place of the year competition, which typically attracts press coverage with a potential readership of five million consumers
  • The opportunity to participate in Tea Guild promotions
  • Online listing complete with photograph and description on The Tea Council’s main consumer website, www.tea.co.uk, and a hyperlink where available
  • Online listing on other major websites which The Tea Council negotiates, such as http://www.visitbritain.com
  • Membership pack, containing a stylish membership plaque and certificate and complimentary copy of 'Britain's Best Afternoon Tea' guide book
  • Regular inspections by incognito Tea Guild Inspectors are followed by a confidential annual report to each member
  • Use of The Tea Guild logo and Tea Guild Plaque logo on letterheads, menus, advertising and brochures to promote your business
