International Tea Day is on 21 May, and in the run up we will be celebrating the journey of tea. This year's global tea community campaign "From Soil to Spirit" highlights everything behind your cuppa, from healthy soils and skilled growers to craftsmanship, community, and the rituals that connect us through tea.

Great tea begins with healthy soil. The character, flavour and quality of tea are shaped long before the leaves reach the cup through soil quality and biodiversity, climate, altitude, careful land stewardship and the unique terroir of each growing region.
